In early 2022, Republic 66 were approached by Velvet Insane, as the band wanted help with PR, promotion and brand strategy. Since March 1st the band then has been working continuously and closely with mainly Martin Gustafsson at Republic 66. Since Martin already manage the bands Eradikated and Sister, it felt natural for him to also take on Velvet Insane after months of a very well functioning collaboration. The band has now signed a management agreement with Martin and Republic 66. "I see a unique drive in Velvet Insane and they really are the perfect mix between classic glam rock like Sweet and rock bands with a hint of pop like The Ark. They can appeal to an extremely broad target group without compromising their integrity in the slightest. To have the honor of taking on Velvet Insane as their manager feels absolutely right and incredibly fun, especially since there is a lot of exciting things happening around the band right now" says Martin.
Except for the management part Republic 66 will also still function as the band’s PR Agency where Sari H Wilholm will play an important role. Velvet Insane is:
